Question about the building a mosque controversy at the world trade center. I firmly believe in the?
constitution, also that evrybody has a right to practice their beliefs, where and when they like. I live in New York and remember when they first proposed this idea. they said they wanted to build a mosque there to help mend and fix the stereo type that was formed towards muslims after 9/11, and in honor of the people who died and their families. basically trying to bring peace between both groups and religions and to show that muslims are not a hateful religion. O.K , my question is this, if that is the real reason, then why keep pushing for it after its being rejected by the families and lots of new yorkers?. isn't that defeating the purpose ? if that is the real purpose. what do you think? thanks !
