How to cover up a really bad excuse!?

I recently called into work and told my boss i would not be able to make it in. Not being prepared, she asked me the reason of my absence, and guess what i said? Im gong to Vegas!?!?! I know right. So I want to know if any of you out there can help me redeem myself from this really, really bad excuse ever!! Thanks in advance!
