Why are Global Warming Worshipers afraid of the truth?

People need drama in there lives and a need to do something that makes them feel good, like trying to save the environment from itself. Also we need something to blame when simpletons can't explain things, such as the weather. Its much too easy to blame global warming on a drought or flood than to look at where they are actually living and past historical/geological events. You cant blame god anymore so it must be global warming. Yes they must be afraid of the truth and governments are using the agenda for political gains and profits. Governments are helping us to fool ourselves.
