Why does petsmart sell so many non aquatic plants as aquatic?

So I stopped by petsmart today because the LFS was bone dry on good plants, and I noticed that a lot of the ones sold as aquatic plants, in the fish section, are at best terrarium plants. I looked in to it a little more, and 6 out of the 8 types of plants they sold as aquatic plants, are in fact not aquatic plants... Why?
