Do i need a license for selling beef jerky to companies as a "thank you" or a promotion for their business

when i was down at a ffa convention we were handed beef jerky as a promotion for the toyota comapny. i want to sell my beef jerky to companies (prolly not that big) like that. some car dealers have jerky on their tables and that is like a "thank you" to you from them. just a thought, wanted to see if anybody knew anything
