Jolessa... Huh??? (10pts best answer! plez)?

So I've been taking Yasmin for about two years. Recently I've gotten sick of my periods and I decided to switch to Seasonale. Unfortunately, I'm poor so all I could afford was the generic version, Jolessa. But I read on the pack that you can't open the blister pack until you are ready to take it immediately. I use a pill organizer, and I was wondering if it would be fine and it wouldn't make the pill less effective for preventing pregnancy? My bf is coming in two weeks, so I just wanted to know. Also, is it just as effective as regular birth control?
